V0.1.1 Wizards Eventlink Beta Known Bugs and Future Features
Known Bugs
Inability to log in due to looping pages.
Temporary solution: Please access the Wizards Eventlink using an Incognito window. This will ensure cookies and cache do not interfere with your login.
Added Features
EventLink and Companion in Your Preferred Language
EventLink and Companion are now localized in the eleven languages Magic is published in. Both products will automatically display the language you have set in your browser or mobile device so you shouldn’t need to make any effort in order to display things properly.

See players attempting to join your event from the Companion app in real time.
See players registered through EventLink using a Wizards Account or Guest.
Ability to update roles/permissions for staff at your store.
Event information changes now viewable on calendar.
Bye
Players with a bye can now be dropped from the event.
On demand Events
On demand events, those which are not scheduled and do not appear in the Store and Event Locator now remain on the day in which they were concluded.
Adding rounds
Ability to customize number of rounds added.
Ability to end an event early.
Submit Feedback
Submit your feedback directly to the Eventlink team! Found next to Store Settings Button.
This has been updated to now let you fill the form out directly in EventLink without needing to send us an email.
iOS Seats
We were able to manually remove some users to free up seats as a short-term solution, but that quickly stopped being an option as well. Fortunately we’ve been able to work to remove the cap by releasing the app early. While it’s not quite what we would call “complete,” this does remove any restrictions your iPhone players had in downloading the app. You can download Companion for iOS here.
Future Features
Concurrency
The latest build has improved areas of concurrency with more to come later.
Fixing a previous round’s results after results have been reported
This is also true for being able to view/print prior round results.
This will be coming and hasn’t been delivered yet, but where possible manage expectations. Users will be able to go back and FIX a single round. They will eventually be able to go back and print/see information from ALL rounds, though they won’t be able to interact with every round.
Late registration
This is a feature on our road map and will be delivered before launch.
Bug Fixes
Floating Events
The issue where On Demand events would float forward to the current day has been fixed.
Concurrency
Role changes, calendar view, and registering players should sync in real time now. The one exception is that a refresh is still needed for expedited players to update; this is planned to be finished soon.
Fixing how opponent’s match win % (OMW%) is used as a tiebreaker.
