How do I schedule and run events?

Scheduling an Event

1. Go to https://eventlink.wizards.com/ and sign in with the Wizards Account associated with your store.
2. Click on Create an Event or on the day you want to create an event for.

4. Fill out the Event Information:
   1. Title - Information entered here will be displayed in the Store and Event Locator.  Example:  Friday Night Magic Casual - Booster Draft. 
   2. Format - The format chosen will display as a different color on the calendar view.
   3. Rules Enforcement Level - Refer to Tournament Rules for additional information.
   4. Pairing Method - Select your pairing method here.  Player List Only option for casual play is available.
   5. Scheduling - If left unchecked, the event will be scheduled for today.  To schedule events in the future, please provide date, start time, and time zone.
   6. Other Event Information - Input information about event costs, where the event will be, and additional information here.

Running an Event

1. Open an existing event.  Click on the event on the calendar or on upcoming events.

5. Enroll your players. 
   1. Players who have Magic: The Gathering Companion can preregister by inputting the code at the top of the event.  They will become Expedited Players that you can quickly enroll in an event once they are present. 
   2. Players can also be manually entered if they do not have Companion by inputting their first name, last name, and Wizards Account email.  
   3. Players who do not have Companion or Wizards Account can be enrolled as a guest.

7. Start event.
8. Begin Round.  To print seating, pairings, and round information, go to Event Options on the top right.
9. Input Player Results
   1. Players who have Companion will be able to self-report their results through the app.  Tournament Organizers can also override results.  Results can quickly be entered by using the Numpad.
   2. Repeat for every Round.
   3. End Event.
